Come and Worship

Activity Objective:

The young people will express ways to make Sunday a day of worship.

Lesson Outcome:

The young people should be able to express an understanding of what it means to keep holy the Lord's Day.

Directions:

Review with the young people how the Eucharist is the center of our lives as Catholics.
Lead the group in a discussion of the ways we are invited to participate in the Mass.
Divide the young people into groups of three or four.
Direct the groups to create a one-minute radio advertisement inviting people their age to participate in the Sunday Eucharist at their parish.
Have each group present their advertisement to the entire group.
