Community Helpers Charades

Activity Objective:

To identify ways people use their talents to serve the community

Lesson Outcome:

The children will be able to identify ways to share God's love with others.

Materials

Directions:

Write the names of community helpers (firefighter, nurse, crossing guard, bus driver) on slips of paper and put them in a container.
Invite a child to draw a name and act out the job of the community helper.
Invite the group to guess the role of each helper.
Conclude the activity by reminding the children of the importance of community service.
