Decisions Relay

Activity Objective:
To help the children choose whether a decision suggested is a good decision or a bad decision
Lesson Outcome:
The children will articulate basic steps in making good decisions.
Materials
  • Index cards
Directions:
  • On index cards, write situations that end with good decisions or bad decisions. Try to come up with as many situations as there are children in your group.
  • Divide the group into two teams.Invite them to sit on the floor in rows. Explain that the first person in each team will stand and listen as you read a situation. Those two people will decide whether the person made a good decision or a bad decision.
  • As soon as they know the answer, they should raise their hands. The person to raise his or her hand first gets to answer.
  • The person with the correct answer will receive a point for his or her team.
  • The team with the most correct responses wins.
