Marketing Manager for Curriculum Resources

This position reports to the Director of Marketing and will play a critical role in placing products into every Catholic school and parish in North America. We are seeking a Marketing Manager with proven experience and success achieving revenue goals to:

  1. Market strategically by: integrating product positioning, customer and competitive knowledge, pricing decisions, selling cycles, and promotional campaigns
  2. Develop marketing campaigns for curriculum resources for the product lifecycle and unique customer segments
  3. Communicate openly, closely partnering with other Marketing managers as well as with Sales and New Product Development teams to share information and create strong customer-centric content in complete and timely methods
  4. Align marketing campaigns with customer needs, company goals, and company brand
  5. Develop core positioning documents to focus our messaging, always taking into account marketing segments, LP brand, unique product differentials, competitive landscape, marketplace needs and influences


  • Minimum 5+ years product management or product marketing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications, MBA preferred
  • Catholic with parish experience
  • Stellar communication and writing skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Solid proficiency in MS Office products, specifically Excel and Power Point
  • Ability for occasional travel


  • Experience in textbook publishing
  • Teaching experience

We are seeking an Educational Consultant (Sales Representative) responsible for sales to parishes and schools in the dioceses of New Jersey.


  • Represent Loyola Press as a company who clearly sees God at work in the world -- through our work.
  • Establish and maintain regular contact with parish DREs, Catholic school principals, and archdiocesan staff.
  • Achieve annual sales goals.
  • Conduct professional product presentations in person, at exhibits, at various archdiocesan and regional events, and through webinars and phone presentations for our Faith Formation curriculum, Language Arts resources, and Sacramental Preparation materials.
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer relationship management tool records for every account in the five dioceses of New Jersey.


The successful candidate will have a B.A. in Religious Education, Theology, Education, or related field, and a minimum of 3-5 years' pastoral, catechetical, or parochial school ministry experience. He/she will have a solid understanding of the Catholic faith, a desire to serve, and be able to work in a collaborative environment. The candidate must have the ability to share the Loyola Press brand with passion, persuasion, and enthusiasm. Prior business experience a plus.
