Family Unity

Activity Objective:
The young people will reflect on how to strengthen unity in the family.
Lesson Outcome:
The young people should be able to define domestic church.
Materials
  • Paper
  • Pencils
 
Directions:
  • Review with the young people how unity is a sign of the Church. Unity is possible when people have the same convictions, values, visions, and goals.
  • Lead the young people in a discussion of ways they might help build unity at home. Write their suggestions on the board.
  • Have the young people write essays about how to strengthen family unity. Instruct them to include suggestions for family activities.
  • Invite volunteers to read aloud their essays.
