Family Unity

Activity Objective:

The young people will reflect on how to strengthen unity in the family.

Lesson Outcome:

The young people should be able to define domestic church.

Materials

Directions:

Review with the young people how unity is a sign of the Church. Unity is possible when people have the same convictions, values, visions, and goals.
Lead the young people in a discussion of ways they might help build unity at home. Write their suggestions on the board.
Have the young people write essays about how to strengthen family unity. Instruct them to include suggestions for family activities.
Invite volunteers to read aloud their essays.
