From Death to Life

Activity Objective:
The young people will articulate the Christian attitude toward death and belief in the Resurrection.
Lesson Outcome:
The young people should be able to identify what we believe about Jesus' promise of eternal life.
Materials
  • Bibles
Directions:
  • Review with the young people the story of the raising of Lazarus. (John 11:1-44)
  • Divide the young people into groups of three or four.
  • Direct each group to create a skit that shows a conversation that Mary, Martha, or one of the bystanders might have had with Lazarus after he was raised from the dead.
  • Have each group perform their skit for the entire group.
