From Death to Life

Activity Objective:

The young people will articulate the Christian attitude toward death and belief in the Resurrection.

Lesson Outcome:

The young people should be able to identify what we believe about Jesus' promise of eternal life.

Materials

Directions:

Review with the young people the story of the raising of Lazarus. (John 11:1-44)
Divide the young people into groups of three or four.
Direct each group to create a skit that shows a conversation that Mary, Martha, or one of the bystanders might have had with Lazarus after he was raised from the dead.
Have each group perform their skit for the entire group.
