Practical Ways to Deal with Conflict

Activity Objective:
To identify and resolve conflict
Lesson Outcome:
The children will receive practical ways to deal with conflict.
Materials
  • Paper
  • Pens or pencils
Directions:
  • Arrange the children in groups of three or four.
  • Ask each group to write a letter describing a situation or conflict involving children their age.
  • Collect the letters and distribute one to each group to respond to. (No group should have their own letter.) Allow time for groups to read the letters to the larger group.

Hints:
Remind the children that they should be kind and considerate in their advice.
