Kingdom of Kindness Crowns

Activity Objective:
To help the children draw pictures of ways they can be kind to others on crowns that they can wear
Lesson Outcome:
The children will understand that we are all called to serve the Kingdom of God.
Materials
  • Crowns cut out of (18" x 12") yellow construction paper
  • Markers and crayons
  • Tape
Directions:
  • After completing the Explore section of the session, have the children brainstorm ways they will serve God's kingdom. Write these ideas on the board.
  • Distribute the construction-paper crowns, markers, and crayons.
  • Have the children draw on their crowns two ways they will help to serve God's kingdom.
  • Pass the tape around and invite each child to tape his or her crown together.
