Writing Traits for Persuasive Writing
Ideas Did I focus on one viewpoint?
Organization Did the introduction include a position statement? Does the conclusion restate the position statement? Did I use an idea web or another organizational tool?
Voice Did my voice sound confident, and am I persuasive?
Sentence Fluency Did the sentences have rhythm?
Word Choice Did I use emotional and logical appeals?
