Activity Objective:

To explore ways to serve the Church community

Lesson Outcome:

The children will be able to identify practical ways to act on God's invitation in everyday living.

Materials

Directions:

Arrange the children in small groups.
Explain that each group is responsible for putting together an ad campaign to promote reverent behavior during Mass.
Encourage the children to identify one behavior they observe during Mass that is a poor example of reverent participation.
Instruct each group to create a slogan, jingle, or a song that would help to promote reverent participation.
Distribute the drawing materials.
When they are finished, have each group present their creation.
