Praising Creation

Activity Objective:

The young people will use Psalm 104 to reflect on the gift of creation and their call to stewardship.

Lesson Outcome:

The young people should be able to give examples of ways we can participate in the work of creation.

Materials

Directions:

Invite volunteers to read aloud Psalm 104.
Explain to the young people that they will be illustrating verses from the psalm.
Assign each young person one or two verses. Have them cut out photos and words from magazines to illustrate the verse(s).
Have the young people print their verses on the butcher paper and glue their pictures below the verses.
Display the poster in the room and use it for prayer.
