Prayer Song

Activity Objective:
To learn and sing a song to remind the children of what prayer is
Lesson Outcome:
The children will describe what prayer is.
Directions:
  • Ask if any of the children know the song "Are You Sleeping?"
  • Review the song and its melody.
  • Tell the children that they are going to learn a song about prayer using the same melody but different words.
  • The words are as follows:

Prayer is Talking,
Prayer is Listening,
to our God,
with our God,
In the morning,
In the evening,
Anywhere,
Any time.
