Song: Jesus Calls Us

Activity Objective:
To sing a song to remember that Jesus invites us to follow him
Lesson Outcome:
The children will explain that Jesus calls us to follow him as members of his Church.
Materials
  • Copy of Lyrics on poster board or chalk board
Directions:
  • Ask if everyone knows the song, "Mary Had a Little Lamb."
  • Sing it together with the children to recall the melody.
  • Tell them that the melody for the new song that they are going to sing is the same, but the words are different.
  • Have them listen to you sing the song once through and then have them join in with you.
