Telephone Game

Activity Objective:

To teach the children to listen carefully

Lesson Outcome:

The children will understand that we should listen to God as Jesus did.

Directions:

Tell the children that they are going to play a listening game.
Ask the children to sit on the floor in a circle.
Begin the game by whispering the phrase "When we listen carefully, we will hear God's message, to the child to your right."
The message should go around the entire circle.
Continue the game. When the last child receives the message, he or she says it out loud.
Congratulate the children if the message was passed correctly. Remind them to listen carefully to God's message.
