Thank-You Cards to Mary

Activity Objective:
To have the children honor Mary
Lesson Outcome:
The children will gain a greater appreciation for the willingness Mary showed in following God.

Directions:
  • Explain to the children what an enormous debt we owe to Mary for being willing to follow God's will.
  • Pass out various materials: colored leaves, late fall flowers, glue, and construction paper.
  • On the front of the paper, ask the children to write "Thank you, Mary", then include a special, personal thank-you to Mary for something in their lives.
  • Have the children decorate their cards with the glue and natural materials.
