The Hail Mary, our prayer in communion with the Mother of God, reflects two movements. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus: The first movement praises the Lord for all the great things he has done for Mary and, through her, for all human beings. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death: The second movement entrusts our cares to Mary.
