The children will share practical ways to fight temptation.
Pens or pencils
Give each child an index card.
Ask the children to draw a small circle face with a frown in the upper left-hand corner and then to write a situation that could be a cause of temptation for a child their age.
Collect the cards.
Distribute one card to each child. (It's OK if a child gets his or her own card back.)
Direct the children to turn the cards over and draw a small circle face with a smile in the upper right-hand corner. On the smiley side of the card, they should write some advice as to how to handle the temptation.
Choose volunteers to read their cards to the class.
Self Smart, Word Smart
Remind children that as always they should give good Christian advice.
