A Reflection by Ginny Kubitz Moyer

Keeping my house clean is a constant struggle. It’s amazing how much damage two enthusiastic boys and one bin of Legos can do. The good news is that even if my house is a mess, I can still strive to have the kind of heart that Jesus talks about here: a clean one, one that is open to receiving and sharing the love of God. It’s a heart that doesn’t freak out at the insignificant things, a heart that sees my kids as the blessings they are rather than as agents of living room destruction. It’s a heart that chooses to respond to others with patience and gentleness. Yes, it’s a work in progress … but every day is another chance to practice.
