MARKETING MANAGER FOR EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES

ABOUT THE POSITION 

This position reports to the Director of Marketing and will play a critical role in placing products into Catholic schools and parishes in North America. We are seeking a Marketing Manager with proven experience and success achieving revenue goals to:

  1. Market strategically by integrating product positioning, customer and competitive knowledge, pricing decisions, selling cycles, and promotional campaigns 
  2. Develop marketing campaigns for curriculum resources for a product’s lifecycle and for unique customer segments
  3. Communicate openly, closely partnering with other Marketing managers as well as with Sales and New Product Development teams to share information and create strong customer-centric content in complete and timely methods
  4. Align marketing campaigns with sales cycle, customer needs, and company goals
  5. Develop core positioning documents to focus our messaging, taking into account customer segments, company brand, product differentials, competitive landscape, marketplace needs and influences 

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications
  • Minimum 5+ years product management or product marketing experience
  • Excellent communication, writing, and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Solid proficiency in MS Office products

DESIRABLES

  • Experience in textbook publishing
  • Teaching experience
  • Familiarity with Catholic market
  • MBA

MARKETING OPERATIONS MANAGER

ABOUT THE POSITION 

This position reports to the Director of Marketing and plays a critical role in day-to-day project management, including:

  • Maintain annual budget and reconcile monthly actuals
  • Manage reports with weekly status meetings and daily conversations about projects and workloads
  • Create and maintain schedules and forecasts across the department, keeping note especially of annual promotions or events.
  • Communicate cross-functionally to facilitate problem solving
  • Collaborate with Marketing Managers to ensure process, project scope, schedules, and budget are clear
  • Compile competitive pricing research and comparison
  • Track and present Marketing campaign data 

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum 5+ years project management
  • Expert organizational, analytical, and planning skills
  • Self-motivated and eager to take on new challenges
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • High proficiency in MS Office products especially Excel
