James Martin, SJ shares his reflection on today’s retreat:
Here’s a funny thing to hear during Lent: Christ is risen! It’s crazy but sometimes we spend our Lent (and especially the Easter Triduum) thinking that Christ is dying all over again. But he’s alive. He is risen from the tomb, and he lives (and reigns!) with the Father in heaven. And he works in us and in our lives through the Spirit. That is true whether we’re in Easter season, Ordinary Time or even Lent. So as we move through our Lenten preparations don’t forget that Christ is already alive within you—now!
