Ann M. Harrington, B.V.M., an associate professor of history at Loyola University Chicago, teaches courses in Japanese history and the history of Asian women. She graduated from Mundelein College and later returned to teach French and history. Her current research focuses on the work of the first Roman Catholic women religious in Japan.
