Using Catholic Fiction to Empower Middle-Grade Readers

Catholic parents, teachers, and catechists can empower middle-grade readers by inviting them to spend time in Catholic historical fiction, getting them to know the characters and setting, and practicing close reading. In this webinar, Antony Barone Kolenc, author of the popular Harwood Mysteries series, explores how to empower middle-grade children to become readers and to gain a deeper understanding of such subjects as history, literature, and religion, leading to lasting learning.
