Being Peace-Makers

To learn to make peace when you or someone else is unkind

The children will understand that God wants us to live in peace with one another

• Discuss with the children situations where reconciliation may be needed. List as many as you can on the board?for example, speaking rudely, spreading gossip, excluding someone from a game.
• Divide the children into groups.
• Allow each group to choose a situation listed and determine a way to correct it.
• Invite them to share or role-play their peaceful solution.
• List their solutions on the board and encourage the children to use these to be peacemakers.
