Community Helpers Charades

To identify ways people use their talents to serve the community

The children will be able to identify ways to share God's love with others.

• Slips of paper (one per child)
• Container

• Write the names of community helpers (firefighter, nurse, crossing guard, bus driver) on slips of paper and put them in a container.
• Invite a child to draw a name and act out the job of the community helper.
• Invite the group to guess the role of each helper.
• Conclude the activity by reminding the children of the importance of community service.
