  • Ask the children about good deeds they have done in the past and record their answers on the board.
  • Guide the children to think of deeds that are easy to do.
  • Encourage the children to write their good deeds on their slips of paper and then put them in the Doing Good for Others Bucket.
  • Pass the bucket around to each child so each chooses a good deed.
  • Encourage the children to try to do the good deeds as soon as possible.
  • Conclude by reminding them that the Holy Spirit will help them do their good deeds.

Design a "Doing Good Deeds for Others" Bucket.

Generate a list of good deeds on the board to help the children get started.
