Drawing Your Family

To teach the children to recognize that Jesus was part of a family

The children will be able to describe how Jesus obeyed God and his parents.

• Paper
• Crayons

• Tell the children that they are going to draw pictures of their families.
• Demonstrate by drawing Jesus' family on the board.
• Guide the children to draw as many family members as they can remember.
• Encourage them to share their drawings with the class.
• Conclude by reminding them that Jesus was a part of a family like us.

Encourage the children to think of as many different relatives as possible for more complete family pictures.
