Holy Spirit Bookmarks

To teach the children that God gives each one of us the Holy Spirit

The children will understand that the Holy Spirit is with us in everything we do.

• Paper
• Crayons
• Markers
• Scissors

• Tell the children that they are going to make a Holy Spirit Bookmark.
• Pass out the materials.
• Ask the children to cut out a strip of paper.
• Tell the children to write the words Holy Spirit vertically on the front of their strip of paper.
• Write the following three sentences on the board: Guide us. Help us. Teach us.
• Invite the children to choose one of the sentences and to write it on the back of the bookmark.
• Then encourage the children to decorate their bookmarks using crayons and markers.
• Conclude by reminding them that God gave each one of us the gift of the Holy Spirit.
