A Model of Holiness

The young people will use Scripture to reflect on how Jesus modeled holiness.

The young people should be able to explain that Jesus is the center of the Gospels.

• Bibles
• Paper
• Pencils
• Copies of the Scripture passages

• Have the young people fold a sheet of paper into three columns. Have them label one column Teaching, one column Praying, and one column Serving.
• Tell the young people to read each of the following Scripture texts and decide if the passage shows Jesus teaching and proclaiming the Kingdom of God, praying to his Father, or serving others. Have them write each citation and a summary phrase in the correct column.
