Materials
Index cards
Pencils
Recipe box or small container
Directions
Review the sacraments with the young people. Ask them to explain what each sacrament does and what symbols are used for each sacrament. Write key words on the board.
Divide the young people into groups of three or four. Distribute the index cards (seven cards per group).
Explain that they will work together to create a dictionary of words associated with the sacraments.
Instruct each group to come up with seven words they associate with the sacraments (one word per sacrament). Each entry should include the word, its pronunciation, its definition, and an illustration (illustration optional).
Have each group share their words. Collect the cards and place them in a recipe box or other small container to be used for reference.
