The Commandments Song

To invite the children to sing a song explaining the Ten Commandments

The children will explain that the Ten Commandments are God's rules.

• Remind the children of the song "Clementine" and its melody. Teach them this new song, substituting the following words:

The Commandments,
God's rules
teach us how to care and love,
They were given to Moses
from our Father up above.

Music Smart

Write the words to the new song on the board.
