The Adaptive Finding God Catechist Guide provides support and tools for catechists and teachers. The Guide includes guidance and strategies for working with children with special needs, directions for Lesson Card use and Learning Tool lessons, modification charts for the Finding God 1-8 curriculum, a reproducible Picture Glossary, and Blackline Masters.

The Hands-On Level Lesson Cards are ideal for one-on-one catechesis and are organized by the following core Finding God unit themes: God, Jesus, Church, Sacraments, Morality, and The Year in Our Church. Additional supplemental Lesson Cards are provided for teaching about the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation.

The Parent Group Facilitator Guide provides ideas for developing a support community comprised of parents of children who are served by your program, including general meeting plans, ideas for discussion, and tips for leading the group.

The Program Coordinator Guide provides ideas for implementing catechesis in a variety of settings, catechist training for both levels, and tips for communication, organization, and successful implementation.

In How to Welcome, Include, and Catechize Children with Autism and Other Special Needs, Lawrence R. Sutton, Ph.D. provides bishops, pastors, DREs, and other diocesan and parish leaders with a guide for addressing the needs of children with a variety of disabilities and welcoming them into the life of the parish.

The Online Pastor Guide encourages the development of a parish vision for serving children with special needs. The Online Pastor Guide offers ideas for supporting an adaptive program in your parish as well as considerations for ministering to families that have children with special needs.
