Sharing the Wisdom of Time honored with Evergreen Book Medal for Spiritual Leadership

CHICAGO, Ill, September 2019—Loyola Press was honored with three Living Now Book Awards, including the Evergreen Book Medal for Sharing the Wisdom of Time by Pope Francis and Friends. The Living Now Book Awards, launched in 2008, are designed to bring recognition to books that help readers live a healthier, more fulfilling, and productive life.

The Evergreen Book Medals are awarded to books that make a positive impact on the world and promote change. Sharing the Wisdom of Time received the medal for Spiritual Leadership. The book highlights the importance elders from around the world have on society and how their guidance can inspire younger generations to live life with faith, perseverance, resilience, and love.

God Isn’t Finished with Me Yet by Barbara Lee won the gold medal in Meditation/Relaxation. Lee’s book encourages spiritual growth for those in later life. Pope Francis Says… authored by Pope Francis won the silver medal for Children’s Picture Books. In the Pope’s second children’s book, following New York Times bestseller Dear Pope Francis, he shows children how to live as Christians and know they are loved by God.
