Decisions, decisions, decisions! Every day is full of them, especially for young adults who are constantly choosing one path over another. But have you ever impulsively made a decision that seemed like a good idea at the time yet clearly turned out to be a bad one, a decision that ultimately was not in your best interests?
In Discovering Your Dream, spirituality and moral theology professor Gerald Fagin, SJ, explores the decision-making approach of St. Ignatius, a discernment process that will help you clarify your deepest desires and allow you make choices consistent with your faith and values. With St. Ignatius’ principles from the Spiritual Exercises as your guide, you’ll be equipped to make spiritually healthy decisions that will lead you to your truest self.
God wants to be in a closer relationship with you; St. Ignatius shows you how to make that happen.
Gerald Fagin, SJ, was a spiritual director for many years and taught courses on the Spiritual Exercises and on Ignatian Spirituality at Loyola University New Orleans. The idea for Discovering Your Dream grew from his work with many curious and wondering college students.
