CHICAGO, Ill, November 2019—Loyola Press was recognized as a 2019 award recipient of the 16th annual Best Book Awards. Over 400 winners and finalists were announced in over 90 categories of the awards, with Loyola Press publishing 19 of the final and winning titles. American Book Fest specifically congratulated Pope Francis on placing in several categories this year.
According to American Book Fest, the Best Book Awards cover books from all sections of the publishing industry—mainstream, independent, and self-published. Books are awarded as finalists and winners based on design, content, and overall appeal. This year’s Best Book Awards recognized books published in 2017-2019.
