The Catholic church teaches that parents are a child’s first and foremost catechist. To affirm and support parents in this roll, Growing with GOD includes parent resources as an integral part of this program.

Lesson Summary for Parents

This concise, one-page handout summarizes what students learn in class, ensuring that parents are kept informed about what their children are learning and preparing them for any questions that may arise as a result of the lesson.

At-Home Parent Guides

These 4–page guides extend the lesson and can also be used for home-based instruction. They include an overview, Church teachings on the lesson content, a 3–Minute Retreat for parents, tips from other parents, vocabulary words, scripting, a prayer for parents and children to pray together, and access to a lesson review. These guides are available in both English and Spanish.
